Pr. William charges teens in unrelated sexual assaults

Prince William County police have charged three juveniles in two separate sexual assault cases, according to a news release.

On Thursday, a 13-year-old girl from Falls Church was staying with a friend in Woodbridge when she, the friend and another male friend drove to a parking lot. There, police say, the two males raped her.

Two males, ages 16 and 17, were charged in the rape and are being held at the Juvenile Detention Center.

Police also recently began investigating sexual assaults that occurred between 2008 and 2010 in the 1500 block of Grosbeak Court in Woodbridge. A 19-year-old man from Stafford was charged with one count of rape and two counts of forcible sodomy of a girl who is now 11.

At the time of the crimes, the suspect was a juvenile, police say. Police generally do not release the identities of juvenile defendants unless they are charged as adults.
