Public’s help sought in serious Md. crash

Police are asking for the public’s help reconstructing a recent collision in Columbia because one of the drivers is still too severely injured to give a statement to investigators.

The crash, involving a 2003 Toyota Avalon and a 1996 Ford Explorer, took place Feb. 21 about 8:45 p.m. on eastbound Md. Route 32 at U.S. Route 29, according to Howard County police.

The driver of the Toyota is in critical condition at an area hospital and has not been able to give a statement to police, authorities said. The Ford’s driver was unhurt.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 410-313-4751.
