Rape suspect arrested at BWI

Prince George’s County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a rape suspect at the Baltimore Washington International Airport Wednesday after he apparently flew back into the country from Jamaica, authorities said.

Obrian James, 19, had been charged with the Oct. 13, 2011, rape of a woman who he pulled into a room at his Fort Washington home, authorities said. He fled the country after the incident, though Prince George’s County police investigators obtained a warrant in November charging him with second-degree rape.

Sheriff’s deputies took him into custody “without incident” at the airport Wednesday, authorities said. He was taken to the Prince George’s County jail while he awaits court proceedings.
