Montgomery County Police Department detectives have released a surveillance photo and requested the public’s help to identify the man who robbed a Capitol One bank in Silver Spring.

The robbery happened Dec. 12 shortly before 5:30 p.m. at the Capitol One branch located at 13301 New Hampshire Ave.
The suspect entered the bank and passed a note to a teller “demanding money and implying that he had a knife,” according to the police’s initial investigation. No weapon was seen.
The robber left the bank after receiving an undisclosed amount of money.
