The bicyclist was struck while crossing northbound Ritchie Highway near Bon Air Avenue at around 8 a.m. on July 14, police said.

The bicyclist, a 25-year-old named Alex Canales Hernandez, later died as a result of injuries from the collision.

The driver is described as a black female, who is under 5’6” and approximately 30 to 40 years old. She has short hair and a medium build of 135 to 150 lbs, according to police, who said she was last seen wearing pink medical scrubs.
