Montgomery County police are searching for a man they suspect robbed the Silver Spring convenience store on Feb. 12.

Police said they have an arrest warrant out for Reginald Anthony Lasley, 39, who they believe robbed the CVS at 825 Wayne Ave., where he worked. Police said that on the day of the robbery, Lasley went to his manager’s office at the back of the store and began talking with him. When the manager turned his back, Lasley threatened him at knifepoint. Lasley then stole an undisclosed amount of money from the office, tied up the manager and fled, according to police.

Authorities have been unable to locate Lasley but believe he is in hiding somewhere in the area. They released a photo of Lasley and described him as a black male who is 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 220 pounds. Anyone who sees Lasley should contact police rather than approach the suspect, police said.

People with information on Lasley’s whereabouts should call police at 240-773-5100. Anyone who wants to report information anonymously should contact Crime Solvers of Montgomery County at 1-866-411-8477 or 240-773-8477. Crime Solvers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information that leads to Lasley’s arrest, police said.
