The 1300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, in front of the John A. Wilson and Ronald Reagan buildings, was briefly closed Thursday morning due to a suspicious vehicle in the area, according to an officer at the scene.
The Wilson Building, which is D.C. City Hall, was placed under lockdown while a bomb squad checked out a car parked between the two buildings.
The suspicious vehicle was cleared from the area around 10 a.m. and the road has been reopened to traffic.
