A teacher at a Chantilly elementary school has been arrested and charged with possession of child pornography, police said Wednesday.
Robert C. Fenn, 26, of Herndon, was arrested Tuesday afternoon at Poplar Tree Elementary School after a week-long investigation, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.
Fenn was charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography, according to police.
Police and schools officials said there is no evidence that any students at Poplar Tree were involved. No school computers were used, according to a police spokesman, and all of the evidence in the case was collected at Fenn’s home.
Fenn was hired as a ”multiple disabilities teacher” at Poplar Tree in August, according to county school system data.
