Three Va. men arrested in Northeast homicide

Three Virginia men have been arrested in connection with the death of a 61-year-old man in Northeast D.C., police said Friday.

Around 5:45 p.m. on June 19, District police responded to a call of an unconscious male in the 1300 block of Levis Street in Northeast D.C.

When they arrived, officers found Glenn Scarborough, who lived in Northeast. He was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to police. 

Preliminary reports indicated Scarborough had been stabbed.   

Police arrested Phillip Charles Swan, 19, of Orange; Theodore Spencer, 21, of Unionville; and Terrell Antwuan Wilson, 19, of Culpeper on Thursday.

Swan was arrested at the Orange County Sheriff’s Office; Spencer was arrested at the Orange County Regional Jail. Wilson was arrested in Culpeper.

The three were each charged with first-degree murder while armed.
