Two charged in shootings outside Pasadena house party

Two 18-year-olds have been arrested in connection with a double shooting outside a house party in Pasadena early Saturday that left one man dead and another injured.

Anne Arundel County police said the shootings happened around 1:30 a.m. in the 7000 block of Outing Avenue.

Matthew Morrow, 21, and a 20-year-old man whose name has not been released were standing on Outing Avenue when someone began shooting at them, police said. The suspects then drove away in a dark-colored vehicle.

Morrow died. The other victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police later arrested Ronald Lee McLeod, 18, of Columbia, and Daniel Alex Savage, also 18, of Glen Burnie. They were charged with first- and second-degree murder, attempted first- and second-degree murder, first-degree assault, and second-degree assault.

Additionally, McLeod was charged with possession of handgun on person, possession of handgun in vehicle, possession of handgun — use in violent crime, and reckless endangerment.

Police said they do not believe the shootings were random, but investigators have not released a possible motive.
