Two men sought in Laurel man’s killing

Police in Anne Arundel County are looking for men suspected of killing a Laurel man early Friday morning.

Officers responding to the 8000 block of Ians Alley in Laurel about 2:23 a.m. found Gregory Robert Sears, 36, who said he had been shot by two masked men, police said. Police searched the area, but did not find any suspects.

Sears was taken to a hospital, where he died.

Police are investigating the slaying and called it an “apparent robbery.”

In a press release, they described the suspects as black males in dark clothes, one thinly built and over six feet tall and the other shorter.
