A person was injured Wednesday after being sandwiched by two Ride-On buses at a Montgomery County maintenance facility in Silver Spring, authorities said.

The accident happened at the Brookville Service Park in the 8700 block of Brookville Road about 7:30 p.m., said Officer Britta Thomas, a county police spokeswoman. The victim, whose name, age and gender were not immediately released by authorities, was taken to a hospital with minor injuries, officials said.

Police were investigating the cause of the accident. The facility serves as a maintenance and fueling depot for transit vehicles.
