Woman hurt after food truck propane accident

A food truck worker was injured after a propane accident in the District Monday morning, The Post’s All We Can Eat blog reported.

Earlier Monday, the District’s fire department had said a woman was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries after a food truck’s propane tank exploded.

As Tim Carman reports: “But when reached early this afternoon, Tasty Kabob owner Steve Hanifi said that a cook on his truck suffered only minor injuries in the accident this morning near Metro Center.”

The incident took place around 11 a.m., according to the D.C. Food Truck Association.
