Woman hurt in Berwyn Heights house fire

BERWYN HEIGHTS, Md. — Prince George’s County authorities say a woman has been injured in a house fire in Berwyn Heights.

County fire department spokesman Mark Brady says the fire broke out in the 8500 block of 58th Avenue about 4:45 p.m. Sunday.

Firefighters arrived to find the woman leaving her home and she was taken to a hospital in fair condition.

Brady says the fire was believed to be accidental.

He says two dogs belonging to the woman were unaccounted for after the fire.
