Today’s Metro meeting will address rider gripes

We’ve written about signage issues at the Metro and have personally experienced the late buses and unreliable trains that have frustrated many a Metro rider. It seems we’re not alone in that complaint — at least that’s the word according to a recent Metro report. (We didn’t think we were, but now we have the official report as backup.)

In about an hour, Metro officials will meet at Metro headquarters to discuss all manner of complaints and updates, including inconsistent escalators and maintenance and possibly reducing the number of rail cars for the Dulles line. The collective will look at focus group feedback on new rail cars and changing some station names. The Metrorail extension includes 11 new stations.
