A video history of D.C. United signs and banners

D.C. United fans make the best signs and banners of any D.C. fan base, by a zillion miles. Partly this is because massive signage is encouraged by the club, and partly it’s because of the tifo tradition in soccer, and partly it’s because there are a lot of artistic hippies who support the club, and partly it’s because the supporters hold massive, alcohol-fueled offseason gatherings in which they make amazing stuff to bring to RFK.

In any case, this video celebrates some of the best offerings over the years. Pretty impressive. Also, there’s a nationally televised home game Friday night.
