You’ll recall that Olie Kolzig caused a stir this week by talking about Ovechkin’s “rock-star” status, and yet it was Mike Green who was in the e-mail from the 9:30 Club, posing in 9:30 Club apparel.
Speaking of rock stars, Redskins defensive lineman Stephen Bowen has his own sandwich at Wegman’s. Yes, that’s roasted turkey and pepperoni with yellow American cheese, lettuce and jalapenos topped with mayo and oil and vinegar on a white sub roll. Yes, it’s called the Bog Diggity. (Via @jeffmize)

Also, one plucky Wizards fan attempted to bring a poster of Jan Vesely and his girlfriend making out on draft day to Wednesday’s Clippers game. He was denied. But ‘twas not for the PG-13-rated content; he was told that all signs are a no-go in Staples Center. Too bad. This one was good. (Via @BoyGeniusLA)
