There’s a phrase that goes, “act like you’ve been there,” which clearly does not apply to Alex Ovechkin. Ovi’s enthusiasm for supporting Maria Kirilenko throughout the Olympics has been just plain adorable, and after his girlfriend won a bronze medal in women’s doubles, he went nuts.
Russian Machine Never Breaks, which was watching the Russian live feed and has some great gifs of Ovi’s celebration, said that the Caps star was “screaming, waving, and even taking photos from his seat.”
