Brenda Frese reacts to Maryland win at North Carolina

While this is shaping up as a rebuilding year for the Maryland men’s basketball team, their female cohorts have already rebuilt. The Terps women are 16-0 and ranked No. 5 in the country after winning in Chapel Hill Sunday night.

And it was basically just your run-of-the-mill victory, at least according to the below video that was posted by the Maryland athletic department.

“THIS IS OUR DESTINY!” Coach Brenda Frese screamed in a late-game sideline huddle. “WE HAVE COME TOO FAR, WE HAVE COME TOO FAR TO LEAVE HERE WITHOUT A WIN. THIS IS OUR GAME. THIS IS OUR GAME. YOU FIGHT TO FINISH.”

And so on.

Then the Terps won, and Frese went into the locker room, looking extremely composed and unemotional.

And then she freaked out. See images below.
