Dan Snyder with Dale Earnhardt Jr.

(Nick Wass - AP)
Dale Earnhardt Jr. is perhaps the most famous Redskins fan in the world, and his trip to FedEx Field on Wednesday night drew plenty of attention. He appeared on Redskins Nation in the early evening, on the Redskins Radio Network broadcast, and in the TV booth at halftime with Kenny Albert and Joe Theismann, who presented Earnhardt with a signed jersey.

“They’re the best team in the NFL, as far as I’m concerned,” Earnhardt told Theismann. “At Talladega when it slows down a little bit under caution, I’m curious about how the Redskins are doing. I can’t think about anything else until I know.”

He also walked around the field before the game with team owner Dan Snyder.
