Dave Jageler calls Roger Bernadina’s game-winning catch

I don’t usually devote two blog posts to one catch, but Roger Bernadina’s 12th-inning gem on Tuesday night was worth it.

Here is the audio of Dave Jageler’s call of Bernadina’s magical glovework on 106.7 The Fan, the team’s flagship radio station. Not included is a later discussion of whether sharks can fly, sadly.

“BERNADINA CRASHES INTO THE WALL. AND. SAVES. THE. GAME,” Jageler says, in part.

“Enough to take away your breath,” Yahoo’s David Brown wrote.

“Roger Bernadina pulled a miracle out his glove,” Deadspin’s Erik Malinowski agreed.

Audio below.
