Davey Johnson hasn’t won titles in D.C. like Joe Gibbs, and he hasn’t made funny commercials like Bruce Boudreau, and he doesn’t exactly have a history in this town like Wes Unseld. But after this season, he is likely to go down as one of Washington’s beloved coach/manager types.
So I think it’s fitting to present a look at Johnson’s high-school yearbook. Sure, this was a half-century before he guided the Nats to the top record in Major League Baseball, but I think his face says Natitude.
