
D.C. athletes have been vocal in their support of other teams for years, and many of them have been especially vocal about their support of the Caps during recent playoff runs.
But it seems to me that every game brings that support to another level. During Wednesday night’s dramatic Game 6 win, my Twitter timeline was overrun with Washington athletes talking about the Caps. I counted at least a dozen, plus former athletes like Joe Theismann and Doc Walker. Plus Roddy White.
None could match the enthusiasm of Skins kicker Graham Gano, shown here after Washington’s first goal. But still, there was plenty of enthusiasm. See below.
