Since Discovery was passing every national landmark, rooftop viewing area and regional grocery chain on Tuesday, it goes to figure that the space shuttle would also pass local sporting venues.
Luckily, because every sports team employee is chained to his or her phone and obsessed with Twitter, we have some documentary proof. Here, via the Redskins Blog, @WashCaps, @DCUnited and @umterps, is the space shuttle/jet combo flying by Redskins Park, Kettler, RFK Stadium and the Comcast Center. Or, at least, one tiny corner of the Comcast Center.
