Drew Storen puts Twitter handle on baseball glove

For quite some time, Nats closer Drew Storen has had the distinction of being the only pro athlete whose mother I follow on Twitter. His dad’s on the site, too. And Storen himself is clearly one of most social media savvy fellows in the D.C. pro sports community.

So it maybe shouldn’t be a shock that Storen now has a baseball glove with his Twitter handle stitched into the back. Caps defenseman Karl Alzner and Storen’s father both tweeted photos of such gloves in recent hours.

Would be nice to see these on the field and not in Twitter photos, obviously.
