FedEx Field is looking different

(Via Skins Blog.)
When I quoted Nats COO Andy Feffer saying the team’s new village-themed park-within-a-park concession area would become “the iconic, defining element of Nationals Park,” some people sort of rebelled against such language. But the fact is, the area does look pretty unusual and distinctive.

Like, if I asked you to name something unusual and distinctive about FedEx Field? Yeah, I can’t think of anything, either. Jericho City of Praise Church is more distinctive.

I’m still in wait-and-see mode on the party decks, but knocking out those thousands of seats will at least lessen the alien spacecraft imagery that was previously FedEx’s most distinctive element.
