FedEx Field monitors were showing figure skating and the Weather Channel

I’ve never before heard reports of FedEx Field monitors showing something besides Redskins football games during Redskins football games.

Sunday, I got two such reports, from different sections of the stadium’s 200-level. One reader, @dcborn61, was treated to The Weather Channel. Another, @trettytret, was treated to figure skating.

Ordinarily, this is where you’d make a joke about figure skating being more watchable than the Redskins, but Sunday’s game was eminently watchable from the first snap to the last. Or the second-to-last, anyhow. So I have no idea what this is about.

(Sample comments: This is stupid. We don’t care. Why don’t you write about football? How do I get your job? Do you really get paid for this? Etc.)
