Get Ready Georgetown: UMBC Storms

Ok, so fans storming the court in Catonsville will likely have a minimal impact on a 2-15 game in Raleigh, and maybe Hoya fans are a bit more concerned with Darryl Proctor and Ray Barbosa and the elusive Jay Greene than they are with yellow-and-black clad fans in speedos (yes, I have photos) and plush Pac Man hats (yes, I have a photo). But still, this gives a little taste of what's going on in southwestern Baltimore County. I can tell you that I went to three conference championship games in the past week, plus three Big East tourney games, and the atmosphere at the RAC Arena was by a mile the best.

By the way, Greene, the pint-sized UMBC point guard, has now dropped to second in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio, although UMBC as a team remains first. Georgetown is 37th, and about 23rd among tourney teams.
