We all know that Washington should lead the league in offseason speculation on any topic. And so it was a point of pride for me to realize that Google’s first auto-complete suggestion for “Peyton Manning” was “Peyton Manning Redskins.”
Yay, us. Doing our part for cheap offseason Web traffic.
Of course, my own personal Google machine is set for a Washington D.C. location, and so I fiddled around with my locator, to see what Google might suggest. And yet the Skins still won.
Here, for example, is the Peyton Manning auto-complete in Miami.
And in Cleveland.
And in San Francisco.
And in Indianapolis.
That’s a lot of Redskins, in each city I tried.
So it’s basically a done deal.
