How LeBron James is like Sidney Crosby

(Nick Wass - AP)
A lot of people in D.C. like to compare LeBron James and Sidney Crosby. I dunno. They both seem like very nice gents to me. But Reader Branden was inspired by this week’s James visit to Washington to send along the following.

LeBron, this week: “I watch a lot of basketball. I see a lot of basketball every day. Every time someone gets grabbed around the neck, it’s an automatic flagrant foul. If I’m wrong, tell me I’m wrong. But it seems like every time I get hit hard or a hard foul, and all I get is two shots and they take the ball out.”

Crosby, on HBO: I watch [expletive] 80 games on TV and that’s a penalty shot every time. By the way, that was a [expletive] hook on the way in, too.”

Well, at least both of these guys watch a lot of their chosen sport on television. That’s good.
