It’s 2:30 at Nats Park

There was a time when I used to obsessively chronicle every small failing by the Nats. It was obnoxious, and it made readers hate me, and it made Nats employees hate me, and it made me hate myself. Well, more than usual, anyhow.

We’ve gotten past those days — except for the self-hatred part — and now the Nats are in first place and their uniforms are always spelled correctly and I never bother posting about the small, every-day failures that might afflict any large business.

Still, Monday night’s time-keeping troubles were a turn-back-the-clock moment. See, the clock failed back in those dark days, and it seemed to fail again on Monday, judging by this photo taken by David Heyman. The photo was not taken at 2:30, FYI.
