JaVale McGee dunks a cookie in an 11-foot high bowl of milk

My colleague Michael Lee recently spotlighted a video of JaVale McGee on Sports Science, in which McGee dunks a cookie in an 11-foot high bowl of milk.

In case you didn’t watch, though, here are some of the crucial moments.

The spot just showed up this week, but it was actually filmed over the summer in L.A. Presumably, it was being saved to debut shortly before this year’s dunk contest. Whoops.

As you can see, McGee rather easily slammed the Oreo into its milky bath, with pleasantly choco-flavored specks of milk spewing up from the bowl.

But wait! Lee reports that McGee actually filmed the Oreo Dunk about five times before achieving this perfect result.

Also, one time McGee actually dropped the cookie into the bowl of milk. Frustrating enough at ground level, but can you imagine the agony about a stranded, ever-soggier Oreo being suspended 11 feet above the ground?

Anyhow, it’s honestly a fairly amazing athletic accomplishment. Would love to see him dunk a glazed donut into a scalding hot mug of Dunkin Donuts coffee at 11 feet 2 inches.

Or maybe dip a vegetarian spring roll into a tiny cup of peanut sauce at 11-4.

Also, McGee evidently has a wingspan wider than Yao Ming is tall. The more you know.
