I also believe in interacting with my fans, such as they are, on social media sites. That’s good business.
Still, the timing for JaVale McGee re-tweeting three fans promoting his all-star game campaign seemed a bit off. Earlier this week, you’ll recall, the Wizards ran off the worst opening stretch in franchise history. On Wednesday night, they scored the fewest points in franchise history, giving them the worst-ranked statistical offense in the history of the NBA.
Then Thursday morning, the three above tweets popped up on McGee’s account.
“JaVale McGee's Twitter campaign for an All-Star spot is so Wizards,” Jamie Mottram noted, fairly accurately.
