Of all the people who show up to Barry Farm (see Duncan, Arne), DMV native Kevin Durant is definitely on the list of expected faces.
On Friday, Durant took some time to stop by the court where he spent part of last summer hooping during the lockout.
“That park is the funnest basketball in the city to me,” Durant told Comcast SportsNet. “I just like being around it and they show me so much love, I feel at home down there. They let me be me, so it’s always great to go down there and play and just also watch. And just let people know I’m supporting them and I really appreciate what they’ve done for me as far as supporting me and always rooting for me.”
He brought along teammate James Harden, who clearly enjoyed his Goodman League experience. Although someone needs to tell him this is basketball, not berry picking.
