One of the slightly less-discussed aspects of the Redskins’ 2-0 start: they’re doing it without LaRon Landry, who was the undisputed MVP of the defense for the first half of the 2010 season, before he got injured.
Landry, as you might have noticed, ran out during introductions with Oshiomogho Atogwe on Sunday, his fellow starting safety if he ever returns. Atogwe discussed that possible pairing on Comcast SportsNet’s postgame show.
“Something special,” he said. “I’m not gonna let too much out, because I’m excited about when that day comes. And it’s gonna be something to see.”
Meanwhile, photographers are left photographing Landry during warmups. It seems like he’s in ok shape, still.
