Marshall Faulk predicts Redskins win NFC East

I like to imagine Rex Grossman as some sort of pied piper, leading his merry band of ever-growing followers on a strange and wonderful 17-week trip across the country, with the followers intoxicated by his ever-confident interviews, and the cynical doubting rats drowning in rivers, and then finally all of the followers disappearing into a cave in Indianapolis, which I guess is the flaw of this metaphor.

Anyhow, Marshall Faulk is an early adopter.

“After the Redskins dismantle the Dallas Cowboys, I say that the Redskins go on to win the NFC East for the first time since 1999,” he said Sunday on the NFL Network. That makes him the second expert I can recall to make this prediction, after Michael Lombardi.
