Michael Morse takes grounders at shortstop

“This kid, Morse, the shortstop, is a dynamite talent,” former White Sox hitting coach Greg Walker said in 2004. “He might be the guy when you look back that everyone says, ‘Oh, man.’ He has jaw-dropping talent, and to have that kind of juice at shortstop is something special.”

Well, Morse isn’t a shortstop anymore, but as this CSNWashington video displays, he still gets the itch every now and again. This is Morse, fielding grounders, before Thursday’s win.

Very smooth. Well, sort of smooth, anyhow.
