Mike Sweetney is quite large

Like LaRon Landry, Mike Sweetney has gotten quite large, but in a different way.

Above, please see Sweetney in January of 1999, when he was a junior at Oxon Hill, a year away from earning All-Met Player of the Year status. Photo by Ricky Carioti.

Here is Sweetney in November of 2002, during his Georgetown days. Photo by Joel Richardson.

And here is Sweetney in a photo published this week by Vaqueros de Bayamón, the Puerto Rican team he recently signed with.

Sweetney’s previous Puerto Rican employer referred to him as “Big Mike” Sweetney, which appears to be an accurate nickname.
