Mike Wise Confronts My Daughter

Apologies for the gross excess of self-referential posts today, but here's a quite entertaining (if a bit long) "video column" by Mike Wise, from Bender Arena on Friday. It captures the scene fairly well, and includes scenes of Wise speaking while cramming pizza into his mouth, and Wise confronting my one-year old daughter Ida, who was attending her first sporting event.

Ida was born a few miles from Bender Arena a few hours after American's 2007 win in a Patriot League quarterfinal game, so it seemed fitting for the two of us to watch these crazy kids storm the court almost exactly a year later. And it was very nice of the game ops guy to suggest we get the baby out of the way before the masses descended. We waited in a corner. Ida and Wise make their joint appearance around 2:45 in.
