Gary Williams did not appear to be in a chatty mood on Tuesday, as his feud with Debbie Yow went mega-public. He didn’t return a call to The Post, and declined to comment further when reached by the Baltimore Sun.
He did, however, chat with Comcast SportsNet’s Chick Hernandez, denying talking to any coaches or athletic directors about Debbie Yow, specifically denying having talked to Mark Gottfried or Shaka Smart, and saying he would have no way of knowing who was on Yow’s list of potential hires.
That, though, isn’t the highlight of this video clip. The highlight is Hernandez ending the segment by saying “Mark Gottfried, have fun with the new gig.”
