Robert Griffin III is rapidly becoming the face of Washington sports, even though he still doesn’t play for a Washington team.
RGIII “is already the face,” Lorenzo Alexander wrote to Chad Dukes on Twitter this week. “[You] would think the same if you saw his crowd at Dulles expo.”
In any case, he’s certainly helping a lot of people move a lot of product.
A reader sent along this window display from a store at University Mall in Fairfax, near George Mason University at the corner of Braddock Road and 123.
“The shirts were selling for $20 each and were available to be printed onto any color blank t-shirt they were selling,” he wrote to me.
Griffin, of course, was in Northern Virginia himself this week, meeting with Skins brass.
“Well...the nation’s capital has been good to me once again,” he wrote on Twitter, including the hashtag “#RGIIIinDMV.”
