When I wrote about those bright red Natitude postseason shirts last week, I indicated that the division championship shirts — if applicable — would come in a standard MLB-wide color and design.
Indeed, for the standard division champ t-shirt, the color is gray, while the design features the outline of the state in which the division champ plays its home games.
Almost immediately after seeing this, someone wrote to me, asking if the Nats’ NL East shirt — if applicable — would feature Virginia and Maryland maps, or just the District.
Here, apparently, is the answer. It’s the latter. Even though a minority of Nats fans reside in D.C., the NL East champ shirt would feature a map of the District. If applicable.
