Nats make “American Dad”

Fox’s “American Dad” has done D.C. sports at least once before, in the episode that featured the stocky white Redskins running back who wore the number 44.

Since the show is set in Northern Virginia, I guess we should have assumed that D.C. sports would happen again, and so they did, in a recent episode that I didn’t watch.

Still, Reader Shoshana did, and so I went to find the relevant images. This had something to do with manhood issues, and with son Steve and this alien deciding to ride a train in to see a Nats game before realizing that they don’t like baseball.

Still, it yielded two D.C. sports images. The first is a moderate likeness of Nationals Park, although the scoreboard is facing the wrong direction, and South Cap Street is entirely missing, and there’s a random body of water, and Southwest D.C. seems to have lost its housing stock. The second is a miserable likeness of a baseball-style “N” logo, which is certainly not a Curly W.

I mean, a “Curly N?” For shame, “American Dad.”
