Nats spell honoring wrong

Not long after I got home Thursday evening, a reader sent me this image on Twitter. He had taken a photo of his television during the MASN broadcast. I didn’t believe it, and couldn’t get anyone at the ballpark to confirm.

So I DVR’d the replay, and sure enough, in the second or third inning, the MASN crew summarized the D.C. Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony and then showed this banner. A banner that is Honoriing the Heroes of September 11th.

Welcome to 2011, Nats fans.
