Nats throwback night in pictures

Last night’s throwback night at Nats Park seemed to go over well, with an old-timey jazz band, vintage-looking garb and general 1920’s nostalgia for fans to enjoy. Even the Nats’ at-bat music was played by organs, which made for an interesting version of “Eye of the Tiger.”

Davey Johnson offered his own approval of the 1924 unis before gametime.

“I’m just happy that I’m not that old so I don’t recognize that uniform,” Johnson told MLB.com. “I think it looks good.”

Cheryl Nichols has an awesome black-and-white gallery of the night on her Facebook page. Here are a few more, courtesy of @Brian Kapur and @RyanJKelly.
