Nike ad imagines Barry Farm

The new Nike “Basketball Never Stops’ ad, seen here, is obviously compelling, but I didn’t notice the D.C. sports angle until Wizards Extreme’s Joe Glorioso pointed it out on Twitter.

The portions of the ad featuring Kevin Durant include “George Goodman League” uniforms, and an inner-city chain-link-fenced basketball court that is obviously a tribute to Southeast’s Barry Farm.

Since The Post has taken a bunch of pictures of that court over the years, here are a few comparisons. All Post photos by the great Jonathan Newton.
