Police tackle man on field during U.S.-Brazil match

Ok, Robert Griffin III wearing a U.S. men’s national team jersey won’t be the only thing I’ll write about Wednesday night’s U.S.-Brazil friendly at FedEx Field.

I’ll also include this fun little video of a man taking a stroll around the field during the match, celebrating futbol and life, at which point he gets leveled from behind by an extremely enthusiastic police person.

(That’s via @primetimereds.)

More fun below, via @BobbyBronilla, of police taking out some Brazil fans from the stands. The video is rotated sideways, but you get a pretty good idea of what’s going on.

“The situation went from zero to cops in 5 min,” he wrote, adding that one of the women pictured appeared to bite an officer.
