Randy Edsall brews tea outside his Maryland office

(Images courtesy Maryland athletics.)
Something I didn’t know: Maryland football coach Randy Edsall — unlike a great many football coaches — does not drink coffee.

Something else I didn’t know: Edsall instead brews his own tea on the balcony of his office at the Gossett Team House.

It is decaffeinated, unsweetened iced tea with lemon. Edsall puts 10 tea bags inside the jug, and usually has to brew a new one once a week.

So if you ever happen to be wandering by the team house and see a jug containing an oddly-colored liquid sitting out on the balcony, that’s what’s happening.
