The Redskins have announced the final cheerleader roster for the 2012-13 season and this video offering shows what the final day of auditions looks like.
New to me: Part of the audition is walking around in a bikini holding a football. I’m not sure what happens if someone drops it, but I like to imagine the rest of the contestants flooding the stage and pouncing on it.
According to the team’s official blog, the new squad includes “Ph.D candidates, assistant principals, triple majors in college, as well as owners of their own companies.”
The team will make its debut at FedEx field for the Redskins Draft Day on Saturday, April 28. Not sure where they’ll be on the first night of the draft, but maybe we can send a couple of them up to New York Thursday night to escort RGIII across the stage.
