Redskins spell Gutierrez wrong

There were a million things to like about Friday’s Redskins preseason opener. Rex Grossman was smoother than custard. Brandon Banks looked like Brandon Banks. Jabar Gaffney and Santana Moss looked plenty competent, and Tim Hightower looked plenty effective. The defensive linemen created pressure, and the offensive linemen prevented it. No one suffered a season-ending injury. All in all, it was a perfectly pleasant night of football viewing.

But it wouldn’t be a D.C. sporting event without a uniform spelling mishap, and thus, here is longshot quarterback prospect Matt Gutierrez, during a third-quarter sideline QB meeting. Something appears to have gone wrong here.

Not hating. Just pointing it out.
